In plain language: What do the colleagues at the dispatch center actually do?

We process the customer orders received by the retailers Bonprix and OTTO in Hamburg quickly and completely. Our goal is always to manage our daily volume, i.e. to process everything on the same day and meet the cut-offs.

What amazes a layman?
This location is simply unique: the size, the degree of automation, but also the mere fact of having, for example, incoming goods/picking/dispatch and a loading sorter in one location, under one roof, is unparalleled.

Hand on heart: Why can't HF do without the VZ?
80 percent of our total volume is handled in Haldensleben. Our location is in the middle of Europe and we have a very high proportion of specialists and experienced employees. The operating technology department, with over 100 colleagues who are very familiar with our complicated system, is also a real asset.
