Development program "Talent Factory"

At Hermes Fulfilment, we are convinced that we have many employees who have the potential to take on their first management role. The "Talent Factory" gives our warehouse workers and tradespeople the chance to develop towards a specialist management position. The fact that everyone has the opportunity to apply for the Talentschmiede makes this program unique in the logistics industry.

  • 1. registration for the info event

    Either you register your interest yourself via the flyers distributed or you are approached directly by a manager.

  • 2. info event

    Presentation of the program to all interested parties. If you are still interested in participating in the program after the event, find a "leadership spokesperson". This can be a professional or disciplinary manager.

  • 3. registration for the talent factory

    Your guide spokesperson will register you for the program. When you register, you will also be assigned a sponsor who will accompany you throughout the program.

  • 4. development measures

    In a total of three modules, the talents familiarize themselves with the role of a manager and learn the basics of communication as well as how to deal with key figures.

  • 5. closing event

    The program ends with a feedback session and the presentation of certificates to the talents.

    For us, employee appraisal is called "feedback in dialog". Managers and employees engage in a dialog at eye level. One of the main components is the assessment of performance and potential.

  • Development Plan

    Development measures are defined based on your strengths and learning areas. If your performance and potential are assessed as above average, we will support you in your further development and career by participating in special programs.

  • Learning with pleasure!

    Measures can include internal or external training, e-learning, job shadowing, on-the-job training or participation in Otto Group programs.

  • Review

    Your manager supports you in your learning. Together you regularly look at your development and successes.

The HF Academy offers a wide range of development opportunities on topics such as digitalization, leadership skills, and conflict management. Many courses are also available as e-learning and can therefore be accessed from anywhere and at any time. If you have specific challenges, you can choose the right coach for you from over 40. So there's absolutely no reason not to continue your education!
