Alongside CFO Eva Witte and CEO Kevin Kufs, Roy Smolders completes the three-member management team at Hermes Fulfilment. The 39-year-old has been Head of Supply Chain Operations & Excellence at the Otto Group holding company since November 1, 2020. In this position, he is responsible for network optimization and control as well as coordination between the Group's logistics service providers and retail companies.
Many years of experience with logistics services
Roy has many years of experience in the development and optimization of logistics services. The industrial engineer began his professional career as a consultant in the field of ERP implementation. This was followed by responsible positions at Lekkerland and Ceva Logistics in the Netherlands, where he implemented supply chain initiatives.
