We store a wide variety of items for different online stores. From a pair of socks to a smartphone to a washing machine, we really do stock everything. Our warehouses are just as diverse as our product range: in Haldensleben (Hamburger Straße), for example, we have a 30-meter-high high-bay warehouse and in Ohrdruf we work with self-propelled vehicles in our picking warehouse.
When customers order something, that's when it starts for us. Because now we do everything we can to hand the order over to a delivery service as quickly as possible. First, our employees collect the items in the warehouse. At many locations, we are supported by machines. In our high-bay warehouse in Haldensleben, for example, robots pick the items from the shelves. Our colleagues then pack them for dispatch. In parcel logistics (parcels up to 31.5 kg), we normally hand over shipments in 24-48 hours. It can take a little longer for larger items, as delivery reliability is particularly important here - we hand over large items to the shipping companies within 48-72 hours.
As soon as a parcel is packed, we hand it over to a shipping company, such as our sister company Hermes Germany. However, because we work with all known delivery services, customers decide for themselves how to receive their parcel from us.
Customers are happy that they received their parcel quickly. However, if an item is not to their liking, the customer simply sends it back to us. We then check, repair and clean the items in our returns facilities. And make them fit for the warehouse again, where they wait for their next order.
