Personnel change in the management team of KS Europe in Pilsen: As of September 1, 2023, Tomáš Stránský(46) will become the new Managing Director and CEO of the Czech company, which has been under the management responsibility of Hermes Fulfilment since March 2020.
Tomáš has a master's degree in accounting and finance and is a certified accountant (ACCA). He also has extensive professional experience. The Czech has worked for the auditor Ernst & Young, the Swiss publishing house Ringier, Ringier Axel Springer/CNC and most recently as Co-CEO at Czech News Center, one of the largest publishing houses in the Czech Republic, where he drove forward the topics of digitalization and transformation.
Future dual leadership with COO Vladimir Dvorak
Tomáš will lead KS Europe alongside Vladimir Dvorak in the future. Alois Pokorny, who was appointed Managing Director in December 2021, will remain with the company and will drive forward the further optimization of KS Europe's financial structure as Head of Finance.
"The team in Pilsen achieved important milestones in the past financial year. These included increasing processing capacity to a record level. At the same time, the operation of the lettershop was discontinued as planned in June," says Kamil Christoph Kasprowicz, Cluster Manager Parcel Logistics South and responsible for KS Europe. "With a view to the long-term development of KS Europe, we have now decided to reorganize its management team. Please support Tomáš and his team in the best possible way."
KS Europe handles the vast majority of returns in HF's parcel logistics business and comprises operations in the Pilsen districts of Křimice and Šťáhlavy.
