ARD morning show visits Löhne

The team from the breakfast show followed the path of returns and took a look around the Hermes Fulfilment site in Löhne.

In April, a reporter from the MOMA program and her camera team (see photo) were in Löhne to investigate the question: "What actually happens to what we ordered online but don't want? Shoes that don't fit or a sweater we don't like - no problem, they'll be sent back! The same applies to lawnmowers, dishwashers or televisions that are the wrong size: return and reorder. Our MOMA reporter Jacqueline Dreyhaupt experienced the extent of the returns business and what exactly happens to the often repackaged returns at a returns center in Löhne near Bielefeld. The 200 employees there work extra shifts after Easter because this is where many online retailers have their goods returned. Among them is sometimes a fridge that is still full of food..."
