Innovative and breathtaking: Europe's largest dynamic order picking system is celebrating its anniversary at the Haldensleben dispatch center. It has been setting standards since day one and will continue to be in demand in the future.
Due to the coronavirus, operations were more restricted than originally planned, but this anniversary naturally had to be duly honored: Last Saturday, the automated returns warehouse (ARL) at the Hamburger Straße dispatch center in Haldensleben celebrated its tenth birthday - the last aisle was opened in 2010 on 12 December.
The entire area of Dominique Hennings, Head of Dynamic Picking, and her colleagues was festively decorated, including with huge silver balloon letters "10 ARL". A large display with a birthday print also attracted attention. Anyone who worked on Saturday received a free lunch. Every employee received a small cake to mark the anniversary.
